If recent price drops on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii have you pining for even more savings, Netflix and Microsoft have been running a $50 rebate program for Xbox 360 Elite consoles (normally $300) bought between Sept. 22 and Monday, Oct. 5.
To qualify for the rebate, you need merely to pony up for the conosole, then visit this site. Once there, you’ll have to enter a password. Try 49710555, then follow the on-screen instructions to register for your rebate. At some point down the road, probably once you’ve forgotten all about the rebate, you’ll get a check for $50.
