2011 holiday gift guide, extended remix
A much longer version of the holiday gift guide that recently ran in The Press Democrat features plenty of suggestions for all sorts of gamers.
Here's a quick look at a pair of upcoming downloadable games from UTV Ignition: "Magical Drop V" and "Mercury Hg."
A fast, colorful fighting game and two remakes of classic Japanese role-playing games top this week's new releases. Also worth a look, a semi-obscure role-playing game whose characters are personifications of video game consoles and companies.
It's a big week on the PC with "Civilization V" and the collector's edition of "Final Fantasy XIV." If you own "Sin & Punishment: Star Successor" on the Wii, Nintendo and Twin Galaxies are running a cool high-score contest.
