If you’re the kind of gamer who spent every hour you could playing the “Halo: Reach” beta, and you’re already thinking about preordering the game ahead of its Sept. 14 release, you might want to get yourself over to the GameStops in Windsor or Novato on Friday night.

Starting after the stores close, around 9 p.m., each will be one of about 1,500 GameStops showing off some in-game footage as well as telling people about a few tips and tricks. Attendees will also have a chance to win a free copy of the Legendary Edition of the game. That’s the one that sells for $150 and includes a hand-painted statue and other goodies.
