Just like they did last, Toys R Us is running a big, buy-two-get-one-free sale on video games. If you head over to their Web site, things look pretty picked over, with a lot of games showing an “out of stock” message. This won’t do you much good, since the sale ends Saturday. It might be worth a trip over to the Santa Rosa Avenue store to see what they’ve got left.

Not to be outdone, Amazon is running a similar sale. Unlike the Toys R Us sale, though, Amazon’s doesn’t extend to every video game it sells, but there are some good titles in there, like “Metroid Prime Trilogy,” “Red Faction Guerrilla,” and “Batman: Arkham Asylum,” to name a few. Click on any of these for the relevant platform: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2.

Yeah, you read that right. No PC deals. You’ll have to settle for East India Company for $5 for Direct2Drive.
