so, I have been playing this 1 va 100, and they started giving out prizes this last weekend. For the mob and the one, its microsoft live points, for the top three players in the crowd, its an xbox live arcade game that they choose, last friday night it was Worms.
This game is exciting and a lot of fun, in my opinion

I don’t think they know yet. (An e-mail I sent to a Microsoft rep to try to figure this out got me nowhere.) My guess is they’ll keep doing it until they feel like they’ve squashed enough bugs. All I’ve seen is that they plan to let it run for 13 or 14 weeks once it does start. Because the model for this seems to be TV and not video games, I wouldn’t be surprised to set it renewed for more episodes if it seems to be driving sales/buzz for Microsoft. Of course, that’s all just me speculating and not anything I’ve heard definitively.

Ok, I have been looking all over the internet, reading xbox magazine and asking everyone who could possibly know the answer to this question. What is the scoop on 1 vs 100 acheivments and the season actually starting. I want a time frame of when this beta stuff is over and the real deal begins.. When can I start trying to earn acheivments for this instead of playing with no goals.

That’s a good point, EoB. I shouldn’t have assumed the people cheating at “1 vs. 100″ were the same dorks who cheat at other online games and ruin it for everyone else. They could easily be earnest beta testers looking for bugs.

Actually, those “cheating” players are doing us a great service. They are being good beta testers and finding the holes that need to get plugged.
