Welcome to the new and (hopefully) improved GameWit

Over the past week, my blog has been migrating from one platform to the other. Rather than post in two places at once, while wrestling with the inevitable fits and starts that come with moving to a new platform, I took a hiatus for a few days. Now, I’m back in the swing of things.
Even though all the posts from my old blog have been migrated over to WordPress (our new software), there’s a bit of housekeeping to be done. I’ll be going back into old posts to add categories, tags and the occasional link. Unfortunately, comments from the old software didn’t make the migration. (Neither did the little summaries I wrote to serve as lead-ins to my posts.)
Anyway, rest assured that there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work going on to make the blog better than ever. I’ll try to stick to a semiregular posting schedule, but expect a few missing days here and there, as well as the occasional n00b-related hiccup as I learn the ins and outs of WordPress and coordinate the new look of my blog with our Web people. Who knows? An 8-year-old photo of me with long hair might even make a temporary appearance on the site.
Good luck with the transition. Sometimes it can be quite a bit work, other times it can move over very nicely without any hiccups.
